They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so rather than write a ride report for my latest bonus ride, appropriately named the "Northern Loop", I thought this time I would share with you my Spotwalla track, together with the 10 bonus photos embedded into the track at their approximate bonus locations.

All up, this ride was 1,402 km / 871 mi. You may need to use the zoom-in function to see more landscape detail, and you can click on any track marker for time/date/location information.
For those riders who are not familiar with Spotwalla, it is an online personal location management system / website, based in the US, with support for both satellite-based tracking devices as well as cellular phone applications. In my case, I use the Android app called “Bubbler”.
I typically create a "'trip" in my Spotwalla account before I depart, and give the link to my wife and family so that they know where I am (more or less), and where I have been.
After some prolonged bad winter weather (cold + rain + wind + more rain) during June, July & August, I was finally able to complete my final Grand Tour ride through the Illawarra Coast, south of Sydney this week.
All up, an easy 858 km round trip and my Spotwalla track is at
The Illawarra Coast Loop
All I have to do now is send off an email to the Rally Master with the link to my bonus photos for scoring.
Its been an enjoyable Grand Tour, and I would like to thank everyone involved in making it happen. It is appreciated.
For better or worse, I have updated my blog.

In closing, I would like to again thank all the people who have given their time and effort in making the 2024 Grand Tour happen. I, for one, appreciate it.
Fun read. Interesting reading a ride report from someone participating in another country. Already looking forward to the next adventure.
