2)     To be considered a “finisher” you must accumulate 25 points.  You will then earn a Grand Tour shirt and entry into first level of prizes.

3)     Riders with 50 or more points will get the shirt and entry into the first and second place level of prizes.

4)     Rider with the most number of points wins the grand prize of ___________________

5)     Points are awarded as follows:

a)     Each State Park visited - 1 point each.  Maximum 10 per state.  See Rule 16 for exceptions.

b)     Alaskan State Parks - 2 points each.

c)      # of states visited - 1 point each after 3 total.  Ex: 4 states – 1 points, 5 states – 2 points, 6 states – 3 points, 15 states – 12 points, etc…

d)     Dyslexia Bonus - Pictures of any sign spelled incorrectly.  1 point each.  Maximum of 3.  Funniest one earns a special Dyslexia mystery prize.  Include a caption to the photo.  I’ll post these in the forum to be voted on.  Bike and towel must be included in the photo.  Ex: Radiator shop has a sign out front. “We’ll fix your leeks” Now, who has had problems with dripping onions?

6)     ONLY state park signs accepted.  NOT state wildlife reserve, fish hatchery, recreational area, fish and wildlife area etc… STATE PARK only.  See Rule 16 for any exceptions.

7)     Three things MUST be in the photo.  1. YOUR rally towel.  2. YOUR bike.  3. The state park sign.  Everything must be CLEARLY readable in the photo.

8)     Signs with arrows pointing the direction of the park, miles to the park are not accepted.  I want the sign that greets you when you drive into the park.

9)      ALL photos submitted must be mailed to: Mark Boettcher  3912 -180th Street  Montevideo, MN 56265.  Photos sent elsewhere will be ignored.  I must receive them or they must be postmarked prior to or on Oct 1st 2008 at the latest.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

10)   Your numbered rally towel may only be used by you.  No one other than you may possess your towel.  If you find someone else’s towel at a location, LEAVE IT THERE.  The owner will most likely be back for it.

11)   Same named State Parks are accepted from different states.  I can tell them apart by the DNR logo on the sign.  If there is no way for me to tell they are from different states; the duplicates will NOT be accepted.  It’s your responsibility to make sure I can tell them apart.

12)   If you are at a park and the sign is down for repairs, or damaged beyond recognition; you may take a picture from inside the park or ranger station with a legible sign stating what park you are in.  An explanation must be attached explaining why you did this.  Include the date you were there.  I can audit this by emailing or calling the park to verify your explanation.

13)   If you lose your towel, send in your current photos and $10.00 for another towel.  I won’t ship out your new towel until these items are received.  Any photos sent in with the old towel # after this won’t be accepted.  If you find your old towel later, DON’T USE IT!  Only photos with the new # will be accepted.  Lose your towel twice?  You’re a dumb ass, a 3rd towel won’t be sent based on principle.

14)   Solo riders - $25.00 each. 2-up - $40.00 per couple.

15)   2-up entries will have 2 towels.  Both towels must be in the photos, and at least one of the riders.  The photo must be taken by one of the riders unless both riders are in the photo.  Bike and sign must be included like the solo riders too.  Rider and passenger MUST be together at all parks claimed.

16)   EXCEPTIONS TO RULE 5A AND 6.
